Oconee Engineering was founded by Ralph Boswell in 2003. Prior to starting Oconee Engineering, Ralph worked in the construction industry for eight years as a carpenter and heavy equipment operator and then for ten years as a structural engineer for a large architectural firm specializing in retail and educational projects. Ralph Boswell is a registered engineer in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Ralph is married to Heather Boswell. They live on a farm in Greene County, Georgia. They have four children, Eli (wife Sadie), Jeb, Mattie (husband Clayton), Josh and two grandchildren, Violet and Gus.
